300g Cream cheese

100g Corn starch

5g Baking powder

5g Lemon peel (grated)

1 egg (white and yolk separated)

200g Sugar

50g Flour

330 ml Milk

120ml Whipped cream

Chocolate sauce suitable amount


  1. Preheat the oven to 150 degrees C. Pour cream cheese and egg yolk in a Pyrex mixing bowl whisk until smooth. Whisk the milk and whipped cream in a separate bowl, then gently pour into the cheese and egg yolk mixture and mix further.
  2. Sift the flour and cornstarch into the mixture in step 1 and add grated lemon peel. Put egg whites and baking powder in another bowl and mix with a hand mixer. Continuously add sugar and mix well. Add this into the flour and cheese mixture and continue mixing until light and fluffy.
  3. Pour this into a Pyrex (pie plate or baking dish) Bake for about 45-50min in oven. Cool for about 3 hours in the refrigerator and decorate with chocolate sauce.
