3 fresh duck legs

1 cup red wine

1 onion, diced

2 carrots diced,

2 potatoes diced

2 cloves garlic

2 sprigs thyme

1 bay leaf

a few pieces of orange zest

salt and freshly ground pepper

a little oil

2 tbsp chopped parsley



Directions for Soft Duck Stew

  1. Season duck with salt and pepper
  2. Place the duck legs in a Corningware Casserole with the wine, onion, carrot, potato, garlic, thyme, bay leaf and orange zest. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat oven to 160°C.
  4. Cover with a lid and bake in the preheated oven for about 1 1/2 hours.
  5. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve.
